Overview:

This course covers how to determine and review purposes, expectations and functionalities of websites, as well as to analyse the user-interface design requirements and set up one’s e-commerce website using Shopify platform.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the course, the learner is able to:
  • Determine the type of e-commerce store, to set-up in order to capture the best potential type of customers.

  • Provide guidelines and requirements for website design for an exceptional user experience,in alignment to organisation branding strategy.

  • Identify the legal implications of using digital media assets from sourcing, curating, and creating content from third-party.

  • Create a website design flowchart to plan the overall user interface and experience of adynamic website.

  • Communicate design plan and requirements to stakeholders.

  • Allocate digital space for branding, multimedia content assets and any promotional activities for both front-end and back-end.

  • Evaluate website using the 3 main assessment methods of accessibility, usability, and inclusion.

  • Establish implementation plan of both technical processes and functionalities of a website in alignment with the organisation marketing, brand, and ecommerce campaigns.

  • Establish metrics evaluation using platform and third-party programs such as heatmap and website analytics.

  • Establish automated processes to maintain the publishing content on the website.
